Planning for the Annual Grove City Harvest Market has begun. This year there will be
three market days: Saturday, Sept 24, Oct. 1 & 8 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Harvest Market is located on West Park Street in Downtown Grove City. Park Street is closed to
vehicle traffic from Broadway west to the railroad tracks. Vendors are setup in the street.
Vending applications are now being accepted for the event. We want to personally invite
you to reserve your space now. We urge you to send your application soon.
Application deadline is noon Friday Sept. 16, 2016.
Vendor spaces will be assigned and sent to you by Friday Sept 24, 2016
We have enclosed your application and an information sheet. Please feel free to make
copies for friends who might be interested in participating.

Free pumpkins ( while they last ), sponsored by Kay Kaho of
Coldwell Bankers(Broadway Location in Grove Cit), will be given to children
age 12 and younger who are present at the Harvest Market ( 1 per child ) on
A Pumpkin Pie Baking Contest is planned for October 1st with a $75 first prize, $50 second prize,
& $25 third prize. Pies must be in non-returnable containers.

October 8th will feature a Pumpkin Carving / Decorating contest with $50 prize money awarded
in 3 age categories. 1st - $25, 2nd - $15, 3rd - $10.

What products can be sold?
Produce: Fruits, vegetables, gourds, pumpkins, etc.
Baked Goods: Pies, cakes, breads, etc.
Arts & Crafts: Handmade crafts of all kinds!
Flowers, Plants, etc.

Please make checks payable to Grove City Community Club, Inc. Cost per day is $20.00 for the first space and
$10.00 for each additional space.
What is included in my fee?
The fee will reserve a guaranteed or regular space for the day(s) requested. Grove City Community Club, Inc.
will provide advertising for the markets and distribute flyers to area businesses to help promote market days.
You must supply your own table(s) and table coverings. Autumn colors are encouraged.
How are spaces assigned?
The Harvest Market Committee will assign all spaces. Reservations cannot be made without full payment.
Note: No one will be permitted to participate in the Harvest Market without displaying a vendors license.
If you don't have a vendor's license, we can provide you with one for the Harvest Market event only.
When does the market start?
The market runs three Saturdays: Sept. 24, Oct 1 & 8. Hours for 2016 Harvest Market are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Vendors
should set up between 8-8:30 a.m. and must have their space ready by 8:30 a.m. The Harvest Market
Committee reserves the right to prohibit a vendor from setting up if arrival is after 8:45 a.m.
Please remember, prepared food items are required by the Department of Agriculture to be marked
with all ingredients used.
We ask the vendors to clean up their spaces at the close of each market day. Accordingly, all debris, boxes,
sacks etc., must not be left in the market area or disposed of in City-owned trash barrels. Also sidewalks
should be cleaned if necessary.
